Family Coaching

The Axiom team offers structured family coaching to help families and loved ones better understand mental health and addiction. Our coaching strategies include helping families to set healthy boundaries and to support their loved ones without sacrificing their own well-being.

Concierge Individualized Interventions

Axiom interventions are uniquely customized and built around the client’s history, personality, and individual risk factors. Each intervention is focused on safety rather than confrontation. Our goal is to build a rapport of trust with the client and to help the individual access the care that they need while retaining their dignity.

Concierge Crisis Care Management

Axiom provides a rapid response program that helps manage crisis situations. Our crisis care includes assessment, immediate safety planning if necessary, and coordination with medical or other treatment facilities that the client may need. Our priority is to prevent crisis escalation while protecting everybody involved.

Individualized Treatment Placement

Our treatment placement support helps Fort Lauderdale families access vetted programs nationwide. Understanding that every client is unique, Axiom helps families choose the right treatment program/ facility that will promote recovery and sustained rehabilitation. We remain involved throughout the treatment process to ensure that the client is progressing safely and receiving the appropriate care.

Placement Services

Families who are not familiar with complex healthcare systems often find decision-making overwhelming. At Axiom, we help clients coordinate admissions, organize documentation, and communicate between the various parties involved. We also vet all recommended facilities and ensure that families receive guidance that they can trust.

Individualized In-Home Assessment

To identify barriers in recovery, Axiom evaluates the client’s home environment and daily routine. Included in that evaluation will be the client support structure, any safety concerns, risk factors, and communication patterns.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health examination

Axioms’ qualified clinical team conducts a comprehensive evaluation to determine the severity of substance use and/or mental health issues. Our examination includes a clinical interview, standardized assessments, a comprehensive history review, a risk assessment, and a recommendation for appropriate treatment.

The thorough Substance Abuse and Mental Health examination ensures that the family understands the full picture and is able to determine the appropriate level of care. Each evaluation is designed to provide clarity to situations that would otherwise appear complicated.

Clinically Supported Sober Transport

We provide sober transport for clients traveling from Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding South Florida communities to treatment centers across the country. Axiom provides secure and supervised transport for clients requiring transport to a treatment facility or structured care environment. All transport professionals are trained to manage situations that may occur, including anxious clients, withdrawal concerns, emotional distress, or client resistance. We ensure accountability from pick up to arrival, giving families peace of mind knowing that their loved one is not traveling unsupervised or at risk.

Clinically Supported Sober Companionship

Axioms’ clinically supported companions, unlike peer companions, are clinically trained to recognize emotional triggers and risk behaviors. They offer support, structure, and accountability for clients progressing from a treatment facility to recovery at home.

Sober companions help the clients to maintain their routines that include medication administration, healthy activities, and education in relapse prevention strategies. Understanding that this is a very vulnerable period in the client’s recovery, the sober companions offer around-the-clock support.

Nursing And Medication Assessment

Axioms’ qualified nursing team does a comprehensive medication assessment to monitor and ensure that clients are following the prescribed treatment plan. This assessment includes identifying potential drug interactions, evaluating compliance, and coordinating concerns with the prescribing physicians. Having a nurse oversee medication decreases the risk of overdose, psychiatric destabilization, and also reduces the risk of relapse.
