Axiom Intervention and Case Management Services (AICMS) is devoted to guiding families and their loved ones to long-term recovery from substance abuse and/or mental health challenges. Our team will be here through each step of the intervention and recovery process to ensure the family and loved ones have everything they need. AICMS is dedicated to helping individuals and their families by providing concierge-level services including clinical and nursing assessments, individualized treatment planning, aiding and assisting in placement, and case management as needed.
Axiom’s objective is to treat and improve the lives of those suffering from substance use disorders and mental health challenges. Dr. Sanchez and Jennifer Sanchez have over 45 years of experience, training, and education specifically tailored to working with individuals and families in the substance use/mental health field. Between the clinical and nursing assessments, AICMS will provide an in-depth initial evaluation, a customized treatment plan, and placement recommendations to you or your loved one.

Meet the Team

Dr. Roberto Sanchez, Psy D, CIP, LMHC, MS, MA, BA, AAS
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER/CO-FOUNDER
Dr. Roberto Sanchez is a trained as forensic psychologist and as a licensed mental health counselor, additionally he is Nationally Certified Intervention Professional (CIP) and a proud member of the Association of Intervention Specialists. With over 33 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare field, he provides expert oversight and detailed coordination of care of each case at Axiom Intervention and Case Management Services. Dr Sanchez and his team ensure families and individuals receive ethical, individualized, and concierge/comprehensive intervention strategies.
Dr. Sanchez’s approach is grounded in empirically supported intervention methods for treating various addiction and mental health disorders that he has derived from 33 years of training and education in the behavioral health care field. He has successfully facilitated numerous interventions nationwide. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Director in various healthcare organizations. Additionally, Dr. Sanchez has served as an expert consultant in forensic settings across multiple states, providing insight in courtroom forums, jury research/mock trials, and working with the Department of Corrections.
His academic journey began with an Associate Degree in Mental Health from Del Mar College in 1989, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas (S.A.) in 1992. He earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University (C.C.) in 1995, a non-terminal Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University in 2003, and a Doctorate in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from Albizu University in 2008. Dr. Sanchez also completed an APA-accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship with Citrus Healthcare Network in Florida in 2006 and a Post-Doctoral Internship working with the Department of Corrections in California in 2009.
With more than three decades of diverse leadership experience across a wide range of behavioral health settings, Dr. Sanchez has received training in addiction treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential facilities, community mental health centers, and private practices in South Texas, South Florida, New York, and California.
A dedicated professional and a personal advocate for recovery, Dr. Sanchez has been sober for 17 years and is deeply committed to helping families and individuals navigate the challenges of addiction and mental health.

Jennifer Sanchez, LPN, CIP, CCHP
CO-FOUNDER
Jennifer Sanchez is a full member of the Association of Intervention Specialist and a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP). Jennifer has worked in the substance and mental health arena for over 13 years. Jennifer engages the families with compassion and positive support through every step of the intervention and case management process.
Jennifer Sanchez is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Certified Correctional Healthcare Professional. She studied Psychology and Criminology over a 4-year period prior to completing her nursing degree. Jennifer began her education and training in 2010 during her coursework and clinical/medical rotations. In 2013, she completed her nursing training and became an LPN. She began working in multiple medical and forensic departments for Broward County over a 6-year period.
In 2018, Jennifer worked for a large psychiatric consulting and outpatient corporation serving as a liaison and director overseeing nursing and clinical operations. In 2019, she was hired as a nursing and clinical care coordinator in an acute care mental health/detox residential facility. Jennifer served to assist in the oversight and implementation for DCF licensing and JCAHO accreditation.
Additionally, Jennifer was responsible for overseeing clinical nursing schedules, pharmacy compliance, and other various executive and nursing operations. In 2021, she was hired in an internationally based medical concierge corporation where she served as a behavioral healthcare consultant. In 2022, she was contracted as a clinical intake and case management specialist to assess clients in a high-powered civil litigation firm specializing in mental health and substance abuse law.
